尊敬的各图书馆、各大学及各位专业人士：
兹定于2009年5月27日-30日，于北京召开名为“中美法律信息及图书馆研讨会”的国际会议，该会议由中国教育部高等学校法学学科教学指导委员会、国际法学图书馆协会、美国法学图书馆协会主办，中国政法大学承办。会议规模约为150人左右（中方约100人，美方约50人）。欢迎各方专业人士及各位对法律信息的应用及传播感兴趣的人士积极参与讨论，提出各方面有建树性的意见并提交相关论文，重点就所列议题征集稿件（议题详见附件）。
一、会议其他相关内容
(一)中美双方与会人员
中方与会人员：200人左右，来源单位如下:
1.政府部门(中纪委、国办、教育部高教司、司法部、工业与信息化部)、全国人大(法工委、办公厅)、法院、检察院、中国教育国际交流协会等单位的法律信息机构、有关出版社以及其他有关专家、学者等:约50人；
2.大学法学院院长或主管院长、政法类大学主管校长:约100人；
3.大学(或法学院)图书馆负责人:约50人；
4.法律信息网站负责人:约50人。
美方与会人员：50人以上，主要包括:
大学校长、法学图书馆负责人、法律信息机构负责人、出版社负责人以及其他相关专家、学者。

(三)会议宗旨
1.交流中美两国的立法程序，官方与商业法律出版及在线信息资源，以及法律研究手段的现状；
(The Conference will offer an overview of the Chinese and American law-making processes, the official and commercial legal print and online information resources, and the legal research tools of both countries. )
2.促进两国对彼此法律信息的相互理解，寻求两国间法律信息的获取与应用；
(It will promote the understanding and seek improvement of the availability and accessibility of the Chinese and American legal information in their respective countries.)
3.中美双方分别介绍法律信息及图书馆的法律信息服务情况:
⑴美方介绍美国法律图书馆的独特性，以及法律图书馆管理人员作为法律信息专家、管理者和教育者的作用。美国法律图书馆协会(AALL)在促进和增强法律图书馆的价值、培养法律图书馆管理专业人才等方面所发挥的积极作用，以及在法律信息领域提供指导和信息政策制定方面的作用。
⑵中方向美方介绍中国大学图书馆(或法学院图书馆)的法律信息服务情况；《中国审判案例要览》在法律信息领域提供指导和服务方面的作用。
(It will introduce to the Chinese legal information policy makers and law librarians the unique nature of the American law libraries, and the law librarians as legal information experts, managers, and educators. The active role of AALL in promoting and enhancing the value of law libraries, fostering the profession of law librarianship, and providing leadership in the field of legal information and information policy will also be introduced.)
4. 中美双方各自展示其共享在线编目系统、综合自动化图书馆系统、综合法律信息与情报研究系统、政府官方与商业网站、其他法律网站、法律信息资源数字化的现状及未来发展；
(It will present the state of shared online cataloging systems, integrated automated library systems, comprehensive legal information and research systems, government official and commercial websites, other legal websites, and the digitizing projects of legal information resources in China and the United States and their future development.)
5.促进中美法律图书馆和(或)法律图书馆员在教育、资源共享、实习培训、咨询服务及其他互相感兴趣的领域进行交流与合作。
二、来稿要求
1. 观点新颖，思想独特；
2. 条理清晰，论述明确；
3. 关于实务操作的描述及建议具有高度现实性与可行性；
4. 论文请附关键词3-5个（多个关键词之间用分号分隔。中文关键词前以“关键词：”作为标识）；摘要500字以内；文章总字数不限，但不少于3000字。
5. 来稿请附上标题、关键词（英文关键词应与中文关键词一一对应；英文关键词前以“Key words：”作为标识）和摘要的英文翻译；
6. 论文标题请使用三号黑体字，正文小四号宋体字，单倍行距。
